Most Instagram trackers make you open the app and check manually. **Klupt is different.** Connect your Telegram and get instant notifications whenever a tracked profile follows someone new or changes — without ever opening Klupt.

**This is Klupt's signature feature.** No other Instagram tracker offers Telegram integration.

## How Telegram Notifications Work

### 1. Track a Profile
Enter any public Instagram username on [klupt.io](https://klupt.io).

### 2. Connect Telegram
Go to Settings → Telegram Connect. Click "Connect Telegram" and authorize the Klupt bot in your Telegram app. It takes 10 seconds.

### 3. Get Instant Alerts
Every time a tracked profile follows someone new, you'll receive a direct message from the Klupt bot on Telegram. The notification includes the username so you know exactly who to check.

The alerts arrive instantly — no delays, no polling, no refresh needed.

## Why Telegram and Not SMS or Email

| Feature | Telegram | SMS | Email |
|---|---|---|---|
| **Instant delivery** | Yes | Yes | Delayed |
| **Free** | Yes | No (carrier fees) | Yes |
| **Push notification** | Yes | Yes | Yes (inconsistent) |
| **Notification history** | Yes — stored in chat | No | Yes — in inbox |
| **Works internationally** | Yes | Varies | Yes |
| **No spam folder** | Yes | Yes | No — can get filtered |

Telegram is the perfect notification channel: fast, free, reliable, and searchable.

## What You Get Notified About

When Telegram notifications are enabled for a tracked profile, Klupt alerts you about:

- **New follows** — they followed someone new
- **New followers** — someone new followed them
- **Profile changes** — bio, username, or avatar updates

## Notification Frequency Options

Klupt gives you control over how often you get notified:

- **Instant** — notified immediately when activity is detected
- **Hourly digest** — get a summary once per hour
- **Daily digest** — get a daily roundup

Set your preference in Settings → Notification Preferences.

## The Klupt Advantage

### Always-On Monitoring
Klupt checks tracked profiles on its monitoring schedule. Even when you're not using the app, the monitoring continues. When a later check detects a change, you get the Telegram alert.

### No App Required
Once Telegram is connected, you don't need to keep Klupt open. The alerts come through Telegram wherever you are — on your phone, desktop, or tablet.

### Per-Profile Control
Don't want notifications for every profile? Klupt lets you toggle notifications per profile. Enable alerts for important tracks, disable for casual ones.

## How Other Trackers Compare

| Feature | Klupt | Other Trackers |
|---|---|---|
| **Telegram alerts** | ✅ Sent as soon as a check finds something | Rare |
| **Check frequency** | Every hour | Varies (some also hourly) |
| **Native phone app with push** | ❌ (Telegram instead) | Some (e.g. The Ick on Android) |
| **Per-profile on/off** | ✅ | Varies |
